Jeuveau is a prescription botulinum toxin type A injection approved for temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. It reduces the muscle activity that contributes to these lines.
Jeuveau offers a nonsurgical way to soften frown lines. A wrinkle relaxer addresses muscle movement, while dermal fillers add volume. Your provider can explain which approach fits your concerns and help set realistic expectations for your appearance.
Your provider reviews your goals and medical history. Do not receive Jeuveau if you have an allergy to its ingredients or another botulinum toxin product, or an infection at the injection site. Discuss pregnancy, breastfeeding, muscle or nerve conditions, and any swallowing or breathing problems before treatment.
Bring details of previous injectable treatments and a list of medicines and supplements. Tell your provider which botulinum toxin products you have received, especially within the past four months. Ask questions about treatment areas, comfort and follow-up before deciding.
